While we remained ignorant, believing that slavery had ended, it continued to grow until now there are more slaves than ever before in history. Awareness is the only way to stop ignorance. Education transforms ordinary people into extraordinary leaders, and truth is the best weapon when fighting injustice.
When enough of us know, and enough of us care, and enough of us get mad about the exploitation of poor migrant workers and the commercial sex trafficking of our own children – then is when a movement of change will happen. Awareness may not seem like you are doing much at first, but it is the first and best way to effect change.

We conduct Awareness 101, trainings and presentations at colleges, businesses, organizations and churches, we hold events that captivate people while telling the story of survivors, and we use social media to impact our world about this issue of misunderstood injustice. Consider what you can do in your world to let others know.
You can invite one of our speakers to come and present to your business, group, school or church.
You can get a group of friends and host a fundraising event to help others learn and support our mission.
You can join with us in bringing awareness, hope and freedom!

Awareness events such as Fun Walks, 5K runs, bicycle rides, poker runs and benefit concerts are all great ways to draw a crowd of people, providing them with some good information while they participate in something that they enjoy doing.
You and a planning team of friends and co-workers can create one of these fun events, find local business sponsors, promote it to your community and help raise funds for OATH all at the same time. 1) We have information from others that have hosted one of these fun events that we can share with you while in your planning stage. 2) We have a registration website that is specifically designed for these types of events that is free for you to use and will increase your event participation and fundraising efforts by 200%. 3) We will work with you to promote the event, send volunteers to help and be there with an awareness booth with literature, handouts, stickers, wristbands, t-shirts and more!

To inspire and inform people in a more creative way we have a traveling art exhibit that is available for you to have in your city for an evening or weekend. It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words and that reality of creative expression speaks to people in a way that statistics and seminars can not accomplish.
