Members

The issue of human trafficking is so new that laws are still being drafted to deal with the injustice. For OATH to be involved in legislative improvements and promoting legislative changes, and retain our non-profit 501(c)3 status, we are a member-based organization. Communication with our members is not considered lobbying, and will greatly benefit our efforts to help get new laws for Oklahoma in place.

Members of OATH are actively involved in the fight against human trafficking (HT) in Oklahoma through their participation, time volunteering and financial contributions.Please consider becoming a member and supporting our mission with your resources – HT advocates that become OATH members enjoy the following benefits:

  1. Members of OATH receive updates on current initiatives, legislative efforts, victim status, Community Action Groups advancements, meeting notes and awareness event feedback.
  2. Members of OATH receive discounts on special events including our annual conference (when OATH is the host agency).
  3. Members of OATH can participate in OATH-sponsored trainings at no charge and may have the opportunity to move into leadership roles within the organization.
  4. Members of OATH will be allowed into the “members only” section of our website where they can download all training materials, research files and participate in chat room conversations with other members. (currently under construction)

Membership fees are considered a donation to OATH, and will be used to support the ongoing mission by helping to fund awareness expenses, outreach materials, and law enforcement/service provider trainings. Members will not have a voting position as to the direction or operations of the organization.

Thank You for your support, your passion for this cause and your willingness to do something about it! Everyone thinks Human Trafficking is awful… Everyone want Modern Slavery to end… Everyone wishes somebody would do something to help the victims… And yet, it is only those who sacrifice their time, talents and resources… those that answer a higher calling to get involved… those that role up their sleeves, do not look away and get there feet dirty going into places that are uncomfortable -  that will see this evil driven back from our society and finally come to an end!
