The purpose of this luncheon is to bring awareness and request donations for our 2013 operations. We would like to invite you to host a table, sponsor a table or simply attend the luncheon. Hosting a table means bringing 9 of your friends and/or coworkers that would be willing to consider donating to this cause, helping us protect our Oklahoma sons and daughters. When sponsoring a table your name or company’s name and logo will be displayed on that table.

Miss Oklahoma 2012 will be our emcee for the luncheon and you will learn more about human trafficking and how it relates to Oklahoma. Additionally, a survivor of human trafficking, trafficked here in Oklahoma, will share her story. She will represent the ones with no voice, still enslaved, who need YOU.

Funds raised will be used for daily operational expenses, continued awareness around the state, and to further our various projects for 2013. Projects to include, but not limited to, awareness campaigns, getting this information into schools educating our sons and daughters, and research into opening a home for girls who are rescued from sex trafficking under the age of 18. Or you and your friends, or kids can go out and create some cool sidewalk chalk art to bring awareness to this issue.

200 passionate volunteers with sidewalk chalk in hand taking the message to the streets of your town will wake our state up to the fact that it happens here and our own Oklahoma daughters are the victims of this grievous crime.

Your mission: find some friends, recruit your church youth group or school class and split up into teams going to the following locations in your area to write “Shes13.com” on the sidewalks where people will see it.

• Mall sidewalk entryways
• School campus sidewalks
• Large retail store sidewalk entryways
• Convenient store sidewalk entryways
• Church sidewalk entryways
• Movie theater sidewalk entryways
• Night club sidewalk entryways
• Truck stop sidewalk entryways

Please be considerate of private property and ask permission first!… remind them that this is only chalk, that it washes off easy with water or rain and that this is a great cause!  Also, don’t get in the way of their customers during a peak time of business, such as noon hour at a restaurant. Plan to get there before they get busy or the night before.
