Speaker’s Bureau

If you already have public speaking experience and enjoy being in front of people, this one is for you. Awareness Presentations are being given all over the state in an effort to bring awareness and education about human trafficking here in our own backyard.
Awareness is a very important component to finding and identifying possible trafficking victims here in our state. Many professionals and service providers do not understand what human trafficking is or how to report it properly… therefore, victims are subjected to repeated abuses by their traffickers with no hope of justice. The more agencies, providers, clinics, businesses and individuals that know what trafficking is and the indicators of a trafficked victim, the more victims will be identified, rescued and offered hope.
- Attend the next “Train the Trainer” (view calendar) to learn about our presentation and receive the materials needed to conduct presentations in your area.
- Attend a Training Workshop where you will present with others and receive input from our staff.
- We encourage you to give awareness presentations to those you already know and are comfortable speaking to: at your church, school class room, club, community forum, etc. Invite one of our presenters to come watch and follow up with input to help you develop excellence.
Those that have completed all three steps and are available to help with presentations during the day time may be asked to assist OATH with federal, state and local agency presentations such as DHS, OJA, law enforcement, domestic violence shelters, youth shelters and many other organizations.
