Since human trafficking is a new category of crime with new definitions of victimization there is a much work to be done in creating new laws that will aid law enforcement to enact justice for the victims. Oklahoma now has a couple of laws defining human trafficking and declaring it illegal here, but there are many more issues concerning the nature of this crime that need to be drafted and signed into law.

Volunteer researchers are needed to assist with drafting these new laws.

Legislators are needed to assist us in creating these new bill and getting them through committee and to the floor for a vote.
