These are a few of the world-class leaders in the anti-trafficking “victim centered” movement that stand alone as men of courage, faith, perseverance and exceptional grace. They are often recognized, well published and true pioneers in the global fight of modern slavery. They will go down in history for their valiant efforts and personal sacrifice.

TAKE THE OATH

I agree that human trafficking ( modern day slavery) is a crime against humanity and individual personal rights.

I agree that the sexual exploitation of women and children in the sex industry should be stopped.

I commit to find a personal accountability partner or small group and live in an open and accountable personal integrity!

I covenant to never sexually exploit a minor!

I covenant to not pay for sex or view it as a commodity that can be bought and sold!

I commit to stop any and all personal use of pornography since the porn industry abusively uses and exploits women!

I covenant to never participate in child pornography!

I commit to exposing and stopping the crime of commercial sexual exploitation of children – “Child Sex Trafficking“!

I support abolitionist and anti-human trafficking organizations that fight for the legal rights and freedom of exploited workers globally and locally!

Brian Bates, known as the “Video Vigilante” and producer of John.TV is a rare individual among men. What started for him as a quest to expose pimps, prostitutes and Johns (the men that pay for sex) in an effort to stop their public activities in South Oklahoma City turned into a full-time adrenalin driven career.

Today he is still on that quest, but the reality of women and girls being forced, coerced and controlled by traffickers has brought about a change of heart. Brian learned that many of these women being prostituted have stories of early childhood abuse, familiar patterns of sexual exploitation and the reality of abusive pimp-boyfriends that traffic them for profit.

You can not watch his videos without being amazed at his courage and personal risk to tell their stories. Brian also shares his unusual skills, experience and resources in an effort to support OATH Coalition partners to help rescue teenage girls from the traffickers and Johns that exploit them.

Vincent Peralta is a passionate guy that lives life well. News reports and media seem to always bring us crime stories about the worst of guys and in the anti-trafficking fight we have to face the fact that men are the problem when it comes to violence and control of women and children. However, there are many “good guys” out there and Vincent is one of those good guys!

His passion for life, for God and for country are realized by his service in the Air Force and Air National Guard. Vincent learned about human trafficking and wanted to do something to help but was not sure what that would be.

Vincent also loves with honor and  passion. When the time came to marry, he decided that riding his motorcycle everywhere was too dangerous for a newlywed and to honor his new wife, he sold his motorcycle and donated all of the money to OATH to help us with our mission.

Vincent continues to serve his God, country, wife and others in many ways. He also continues to make donations to OATH. There are some good guys out there living well and they are real life heroes compared to other men that live for themselves only.
